textured floor blocks

textured floor blocks are provided from the entrance of each floor (elevator) to information counter, tactile models, and toilet. textured floor blocks are not provided in the 5th and 6th-floor gallerys as their layout changes according to exhibitions.

voice guide system

voice guide systems are provided at the front entrance of the first floor, the 1st-floor information counter and the 2nd-floor inquiries counter for the sight- and hearing- impaired as well as in the 1st-floor and 2nd-floor toilets. listen to the voice using the transmitter (a signal aid). the transmitter may be lent out on request. apply to the 1st-floor information counter.

tactile models

tactile models are provided on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 7th floors. they are equipped with guide blocks from the elevators. these models show a map of the floors where they are provided in three dimensions. the tallest part in the map is the present location with the Braille block indicated in thick dotted lines. as you go on feeling the models, they will tell you about the facilities and their names. displays in Braille are also available.
