what is "smt guided tour"?

sendai mediatheque is a multifunctional facility
that has various functions such as gallery, library, and providing information
for the sight-and hearing-impaired.

"smt guided tour" is the project that the guide volunteer
introduces architectural features of the building
and how to use the facility from the viewpoint of a general user.

types of the tours

general tour:
we also show you the function of studio and various barrier free facilities. please let us know in advance if there is specific area, where you are interested in.
children's tour:
each child participant requires its guardian.
theater tour:
the projection room, where seldom open to the public, is also guided.
night tour:
enjoy the fantastic atmosphere of sndai mdiatheque at night.

how to register

participants can register by postcard, fax or e-mail at least 3 days in advance.
(information required: the day you would like to participate, your name, address and phone number)
number of visitors per session:
visitor numbers are limited to 15 participants per session.
