materials can be used after user registration.
- borrowing materials from the library
- one person may borrow two items at a time for up to two weeks from smt and seven other city libraries.

- this can be done in the audiovisual booth on the 2nd floor.
- borrowing by mail
- lending services by mail are available for those with a certificate for the physically-impaired who have difficulty coming to the library.

- those who have already completed user registration
those who have a registration card for libraries in sendai or the mediatheque may use such cards. - those living in sendai and its urban area of 13 cities, towns, and village can use the materials after registering.

- it is possible to search materials at the book search terminal. otherwise, please ask the staff for assistance.
- reservations
- it is possible to reserve the materials owned by mediatheque when they are out on loan. print out a catalogue from the book search terminal and submit it to the counter with your library card.
