こどもから大人まで楽しめる参加型のアートフェスティバル「青葉縁日」の3回目。
今回は「昭和」「遊び」をテーマに、アーティストがそれぞれの手法、メディアで表現し、 作品展示、ワークショップを開催します。

“Aoba En-nichi 3 : Appe-toppe Playground”
This summer, an “appe-toppe” place of amusement will appear. Go to
En-nichi with your sugoroku, games, handiworks, and even with your summer
homeworks!

The word “En-nichi” means a fete day of shrine. People gather at in front
of “Kamisama” (Japanese God), and amuse themselves little apart from their
everyday lives with various plays in a festival. In this year’s “Aoba
En-nichi”, rising artists, art students, and groups of people doing
artistic activities gather and present their works of modern arts and unique
games in a space of En-nichi under a theme of Showa’s play. Those works are
filled with messages to the children bearing the future at these days of
very unclear times. We hope that the various experiences and the plays in
this summer’s “Aoba En-nichi” to be a chance and a place for people to
start thinking about the ways of communication activities in this 21st
century.
